3rd Year BSIT and 2nd Year (TESDA) participated the PhilNITS Seminar

The Philippine National IT Standards (PhilNITS) Foundation is a non-stock, non-profit, non government organization that is implementing the following Certification Exams for IT and non-IT Professionals.

PhilNITS is a member of the IT Professionals Examination Council (ITPEC)

The 3rd Year BSIT and 2nd Year (TESDA) joined the two days, seminar last October 30 and also take the Mock Examination for IT Professionals Examination Certification. The result of the examination was announced afternoon of October 31. The good news was that Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges - Marbel Incorporated (RMMC- MI) got the 3rd position who has the highest score in exam in the Level 2: Fundamental Information Technology Engineers (FE) Certification Exams- this is for Individuals who have basic fundamental knowledge and skills required to be an advanced IT human resource, and who possess practical utilization abilities Defined as human resources with basic knowledge and skills who are able to perform tasks with a certain degree of difficulty or part of the required tasks on their own (Assist). (NDMU) Notre Dame of Marbel University got the 1st and Mindanao State of University - Gensan got the 2nd. 

ITE Department of RMMC-MI is now going forward of attaining its goal by providing IT professionals that has a standards. The department is now going to require all Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) to take the examination before they will graduate in their course. Certified Passer of PhilNITS will uplift the mission and vision of the school particularly the ITE Department by providing quality graduates.

ITE Department joins and celebrates the Nutrition Month last July 31, 2013 at RMMC - MI, Roof Deck. The Program started enthusiastically by the Faculty and students they had shown their talents and skills in preparing their materials for their selected events.  Program Directors of every department was not exempted for they were also required to participate in the Parlor Games. Mrs. Wendy Saik the School nurse was the Head coordinator of the said activities.

Students from the (ITE) Information Technology Department shown their part even though it was not good enough but they tried their best, to showcase what they got.

2nd General Assembly Meeting

ITE Department headed by the DSC Officers conducted the 2nd General Assembly last August 19, 2013 at 1 to 4 pm . The meeting also aims to inform the members of the department,  about the current financial status of the student activity fee, transparency is our main concern in our department and also the upcoming events these 1st semester. 

Agenda of the meeting are the following

- Liquidation Report for Acquaintance Party Expenses and DSC Fee financial status
- Nutrition Month
- Intramural 2013 ( Hinampang 2013)
- Implementation of Laboratory & Internet Pass
- Other concerns

ITE Student participated in the 3rd SPEED IT Summit and Skills Competition

Theme: "Building the Smart South Cotabato through Local Champions" 

Students from ITE Department of RMMC-MI in Celebration of T'nalak Festival joins the SPEED IT Summit and Skills Competition (SPEED) Southern Philippines Educators and Entrepreneurs Development for the Information Technology. RMMCians of Marbel joins the Quiz Bowl and Photoshop competition in IT for the first time in an outside event of the school. In Quiz Bowl competition students from 1st year a BSIT joins the said competition. The following students who courageously joined the competition with all their knowledge and skills.

The competition was also participated by other school like NDMU, MITC, GVC, ACLC and STI. It was a successful event even though there are some technical problem in the software being use during the competition. 

The participation of students in the said event was a stepping stone of exposing them to become competitive with their selected career. GO RMMCians

ITE Department joins T'nalak Festival Parade 2013

Students from ITE Department of RMMC-MI participated the T'nalak Festival Parade which was started around 7:00 to 9:00 AM, August 12, 2013. The students was with their instructor Sir Mark Jovic Daday. The parade was also participated by the government agencies like the Philippine Army, Philhealth, Local Government Units (LGU) etc.... Private sectors or the NGO contributed also their part in the events.
